The story begins with a tattered family heirloom, a book that leads three contemporary tomb raiders on a quest to unravel the age-old mystery of a vanished tribe. Using ancient Feng Shui techniques, they decipher the secrets of the world, searching for hidden palaces deep within the earth. The extraordinary and bizarre underground world, where the veil of history is slowly lifted.

Hu Bayi arrived at Ganggang camp on the border of China and Mongolia, bringing with him the only book left in his home—"The Secret Art of Yin-Yang Feng Shui in Sixteen Characters." With nothing much to do, he memorized the text thoroughly. Later, he joined the army and was stationed in Tibet, where he survived a massive avalanche by using the burial techniques he had learned from the book to escape unscathed.

After being discharged, Hu Bayi teamed up with his friend Wang to join an archaeological team heading to Xinjiang. The group faced numerous dangers as they made their way to the ancient city ruins of Jingjue in the Taklamakan Desert. Upon entering the underground "Ghost Cave," they encountered a series of intricate mechanisms and traps. It seemed that this mysterious cave was under the control of a prophet…
